1997  The new computer room was officially opened and first Filipino Computer Club-Dubai officers were inducted. Apart from the Basic Computer Course, several workshop and seminars were conducted for FCC students and members. The first PC Assembly Class which is an exclusive course for members only was officially conducted. After a successful Train the Trainer and Team Building, was a time of reckoning for it was this period that the Filipino Computer Club produced prominent figures amongst its students. They committed themselves to push the club into higher gears and sought greater mileage.

1998 Basic Computer and PC Assembly Class were continuously rendered . Seminars for Trainers and Newsletter Staff workshop were conducted respectively. The second term for  Election of Officers was officiated and after which the first ever raffle project was launched and the result was overwhelming, scooping 100% turnover. But someone shook and rocked the very foundation of the club causing immeasurable pains and emotional distress to those who stood firm for the club.

The Filipino Computer Club continued to be in the mainstream wherein the officers and students participated in several functions and activities of Labour/OWWA office. The club's participation to the Philippine Independence Centennial Celebration had lifted the spirit of  its constituents wherein the response from the Filipino community was overwhelming  and a re-enactment was requested and held in Fujairah.

1999 The PC Assembly Class was separated from the Filipino Computer Club  and became an independent course. The club suffered severe humiliations from the community caused by some misdeeds which were never beyond the control of the active officers. As a result some of them became inactive and eventually the election of the officers that was supposed to be in May 1999 did not materialized. Therefore, there was no legitimate set of officers that can be considered during this period. Unfortunately a person who was no longer officially  associated with the club  was declaring to dissolve it.

Despite the club's stagnancy status the Basic Computer trainings for the less privileged went on and push thru as expected.

2000  Newly installed authorities replaced the old guards. This was viewed with hope and renewed trust paving a way to adapt a  forgive and forget policy picking up the pieces from the club's ruin and embark a new journey. Membership then again flourished and new sets of officers were elected which enabled the club to re-occupy its place in the mainstream of all community endeavors at FWRC premises.
